Day 1 – Arrival

We will pick you up from Paphos airport, take you to your hotel and assist you with check-in and bike building before we head out for a spin to shake the travel out of your legs. We will meet over a drink before dinner to plan for tomorrow (this is a daily ritual) and then head into the hotel restaurant for a group dinner with all the guests and staff.

Day 2

After breakfast the Enthusiast group will ride out from the hotel on an out and back route that will take us to the base of the Paphos Forest. The Advanced group will jump into the van and drive for 40 minutes to our start point at Ezousa Winery. The route heads into the Paphos forest and winds back to the hotel.

Day 3

We all start from near Polis today and wind through the beautiful Paphos pine and cedar forest finishing back at the hotel. Both rides are challenging with plenty of climbing and a long time in the saddle but both groups will meet up and stop for a picnic lunch in the forest to recharge and take in the beautiful forest setting.

Day 4

After a couple of very demanding days in the saddle it is time to roll around the beautiful vineyards of the valley. The route is just setting the scene as we have a winery tour planned for later today.

Today’s ride
Rolling | 37 miles | 2:20

Day 5

Today we all have the option to tackle Mt Olympus. After a one hour drive in the cars we will start our ride just outside of the famous little village of Ormodos looping through the forest and finishing at the start point.

Day 6

Even though it is our last day we still have some adventuring with a route that includes a bit of unsurfaced road. The unsurfaced sector is hardpacked (similar to roads used for Strade Bianche in Italy) and about 8km so well worth the adventure.

Unfortunately our Cyprus adventure ends today so we will help you pack your bike and drop you to the airport where we are certain you will start to plan your next adventure with The Gorillas as we Explore the World by Bike.
